Preserve the shine
Jewelry Care
A little care goes a long way. Follow these simple guidelines and your HANNA pieces will stay radiant for years.
Keep it dry
Remove your jewelry before swimming, showering, or exercising. Water, sweat, and chlorine can accelerate tarnishing and weaken plating over time.
Avoid direct contact
Perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays contain chemicals that can react with metal. Apply your products first, then put on your jewelry as the finishing touch.
Store thoughtfully
Keep pieces in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box, separated to avoid scratching. Store away from direct sunlight and humidity.
Clean gently
Wipe with a soft, non-abrasive cloth after each wear. For deeper cleaning, use warm water and a drop of mild dish soap — no harsh chemicals.
What our plating means
HANNA pieces are crafted on a brass base with 2.5+ microns of 14k or 18k gold plating. This is significantly thicker than standard fashion jewelry, giving you longevity and luster without the fine jewelry price tag.
When to take it off
- Before bed — chains can snag and clasps can loosen.
- Before working out — sweat accelerates wear.
- Before swimming or bathing — chlorine and saltwater are harsh on metal.
- Before applying lotions or perfume — chemicals can dull the finish.
